The disposable coffee cup tray production line is a fully automatic system. It uses waste paper, old cartons, and pulp boards as raw materials, and goes through four main stages: pulping, molding, drying, and hot pressing, to produce eco-friendly, biodegradable pulp coffee cup trays.
The production line comes in semi-automatic and fully automatic types, with 7 models available, and a capacity of 1,000–7,000 pieces per hour.

How to Make Coffee Cup Trays from Pulp？
Pulping
- Waste paper, cardboard, or recycled paper pulp is fed into the pulping machine with an appropriate amount of water.
- The raw materials are shredded and stirred to form a uniform, fine pulp slurry.
- Optional additives can be added to improve molding strength or surface smoothness, preparing the pulp for the subsequent molding process.s.
Molding
The pulp coffee cup tray molding machine uses vacuum suction to pull wet pulp onto metal or silicone molds. Molds are shaped for 2-cup or 4-cup. The vacuum ensures the pulp spreads evenly to form the initial tray shape.
Demolding and Pre-Drying
The wet trays are removed from the molds and sent to a pre-drying area to remove some moisture, making them easier to handle.
Drying and Hot-Pressing
A drying system (e.g., belt dryer) removes the remaining moisture to reach the required hardness. Hot pressing smooths the surface and edges of the trays.
Eco-Friendly Material
Made from waste paper, pulp, or renewable materials, without any plastic. The trays are biodegradable and meet global environmental standards, such as Europe’s EN13432 certification.
